Saving Great Places

The Nature Conservancy Magazine wanted a map of their most precious projects for a spread, and they wanted it to engage their non-scientist readers with their own brand values, "Saving Great Places". They wanted a scientific and humanistic look and feel and also give some of the excitement of exploration. Yet, as usual, their data is precise and as organized as a scientific paper.
